Between February 16, 1945 and February 19, 1945, Wesel, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany was strategically bombed as an allied defense to end World War II. The entire city was destroyed, but they rebuilt and expanded their borders. This poster illustrates the expansion and rebuilding of the city.
A fictional metro map, I have designed exactly how I would imagine the perfect transportation system for a city with one of the least reliable transportation systems that I have ever experienced.
This map reaches all the way up to the boarder, with stops at Seabreeze, a local amusement park, Charlotte beach, and Durand Park, then brings you back into town through the boroughs, the neighborhoods, and all of the way to the outskirts in Victor, NY. A subway system based off of this map would be the ideal way for any Rochesterian to travel.
The series of animal posters was inspired by a class assignment to create an icon set. After looking at the separate icons, I had the urge to see what each of these seemingly innocent animals would look like if they had a post-grunge makeover.

This snail is the heavy metal–borderline screamo version of a mollusc.
For this project, I used the typeface Futura Standard to create letter forms as art. This was not used for the official Toyfair poster, but served as a class assignment during my MFA.
The inspiration for this project stemmed from the use of pinball machines, a way of creating kinetic movement throughout the design, and a form of nostalgia for many.
Plakookee is a traveling art duo who had visited RIT during my time in graduate school. I was working for the gallery system, and was given the opportunity to design a poster for their workshop. After their workshop, we had a limited 4 hour window to install the products of the workshop.
Advertising for the alcohol industry creates a glamorous facade. It creates an environment of sophistication and lust. What advertising fails to show, however, is the dark side of the industry: issues with mental and physical health, issues with home maintenance and safety, substance abuse, substance dependency and alcoholism.
For this project, I intend on creating a series of print and digital advertisements for the liquor industry, utilizing my own experience within the industry, and research from scientific journals surrounding the hidden side effects of the lavish facade.
The concept behind this poster is that too much alcohol can reveal dangerous truths about people, often times similar to flirting with the devil.

A play on the big blue safety boxes that are scattered on campus, this poster is directed towards college students: providing a method to reach a safe route.

This poster was designed with the concept of sheer temptation that can come from the industry: from alcoholism to affairs.
